Praia do Forte is a beach town on Bahia's miracle coast, just 80 km north of Salvador. This unsophisticated coastal town is a newly developed tourist place which has become Bahia’s ecological reserve and Carmel by the Sea. This town is constantly visited by many tourists and Brazilian residents which is famous for its beaches, eco resorts and natural charm.
Praia do Forte has fine golden sand that extends up to eight mile along the beaches, which has an annual temperature of 28 degree Celsius with hot, humid and sunny weather throughout the year. The best time to visit is from November to March, as the rainy season starts between April and July. The month of April is the start of autumn in Brazil.
