Pipa is a village of fishermen; it has a strong bound with the Atlantic Ocean. You will find a lot of foreigners here; the town is stuffed with hotels, bars, discos and restaurants. There are several taverns and restaurants that bring together old-world culture with a progressive edge. A short walk out of the main road of Pipa, there is the forest known as Ecological Sanctuary located above the beaches with some great lookout points over the bays.This is purely a tourist destination hence one could find many boutiques, and restaurants lined up for travelers. There are also some farms where sea salt is produced, which attract the tourists.

This beach is always overcrowded hence there are many sports activities such as beach volleyball, swimming, surfing, kite surfing and Sand boarding.The best of Pipa happens at night, where many programs like dancing, singing, DJ’s night, live reggae and samba and e-music takes place.One could taste a wide variety of Brazilian food such as great fish, moquecas and sea foods. There is a lot of good places, which offer a great taste such as the seafood moqueca, Sobrado da Vila, Al. do Sol, Pousada Costa Smeralda.
