Morro de Sao Paulo was isolated island until recently when Brazilian and other travelers discovered this wonderful place; some of them are now residents of this island. Today, this island is famous for its social parties and its beautiful beaches. There are parties almost through the year, but summer days are special as all the beaches and clubs are busy partying. There are many clubs, restaurants, inns and hotels at this island; one could opt for simple beach house or grand colonial mansions, there are good diversities and locations.

Specialty of the beach: This beach has blue green water with calm environment, and also dolphins which entertains all visitors. It is not strange to find movie stars, top models, backpackers and hippies; at the beach.

Tourist Attraction: Most people choose this spot due to its untouched charm and diverse culture. This place surely provides relaxed holidays and is ideal for long tour. Tourists prefer this beach for diving, shopping, eating and drinking.

Eat and Drink out at Morro de Sao Paulo:
At the main street one could taste pizza and bougainvillea. There are plenty of drinks such as tropical fruits with vodka and other drinks with powerful seditious. De rigueur are roskas, is the famous drink which one should definitely experience.
What to See: There are no cars allowed at this place so private transport or horseback are readily available. One could find just alleys here as there are no streets, but the beaches are too good and it will definitely make the trip worthwhile.

  • Big Fountain (Fonte Grande), which dates from 1746
  • 19 th century facade towards Praca Aureliano Lima
  • Igreja Nossa Senhora da Luz towards right, build between 1811-1845
  • Portuguese construcion Fortaleza Tapirandu (Forte da Ponta dos Fachos), in 1630. This is the best place to watch sunset and dolphins.
  • Lighthouse (farol), constructed in 1845.
  • Fluing fox (tirolesa) which drops from 226 feet.
  • Lha de Cairu, Cairu Island
  • Ilha de Boipeba, Boipeba Island
