About Coconut Beach

Coconut beach is located towards Atlantic coast of Nigeria, 20 miles towards the Republic of Benin, which is very beautiful and long, surrounded by coconut trees. This attractive beach is a part of coastal town Badagry, which is situated at the western end of Lagos; which can be reached through Lagos Badagry express highway.

Nigeria enjoys tropical season which has wet and dry climate throughout the year. Hot and dry season begins from November and ends in March, which has hot Harmattan breeze flowing from Sahara Desert, across northern areas of Nigeria. It rains usually from April to October, where the wettest month is June and the wettest location in Nigeria is the eastern coastal area.

Nigerian residents have simple lifestyle of a dweller who sells lot of Nigerian sculptures and handicrafts, in the market. Transportation is highly developed in Nigeria owing to increased tourist count, which resulted in advanced road, rail and water recreation transports along with many flights flying to and fro from Nigerian Airport.

Tourist Attraction: This beach is gaining popularity due to its beauty and breathtaking scenery views. Tourists love to see nature close by through forest trekking, lake and rivers, soothing environment and waterfall. Nigeria, which is a developing country in Africa, has also increased tourist count which provides good revenue to Nigerian tourism. A large number of handicrafts articles and ornaments are available on the streets and markets, majority of them are purchased by foreign tourist.
