How to Reach: This beach is just 2 hours drive from the city of Maracay. One could also opt for a bus from capital city of Caracas to Choroni which goes over the Henri Pittier National Park through the cloudy forest mountain before it reaches the sea, which takes approximately 4 hours.

Places to visit:
- Henri Pittier's Park is one of the oldest National Parks in Venezuela, which has diverse animals of world with over 600 species of birds. The total area covers 1000 square kilometers which include deer, foxes, monkeys, tapirs, incredible variety of birds, ocelots, armadillos and frogs.
- Valle Seco which means dry valey is 15 minutes by boat, towards the west of Choroni (Puerto Colombia). This natural big pool is a perfect spot for small ones where they can discover wonderful coral reefs.
- Chuao is famous for 80 meter river fall (el chorreron) and fantastic river pools. You can reach Chuao in an hour by feet.
- Cepe is a small town (25 minutes walking distance), has a fantastic crystal water and calm beach, famous for Indian “Tacarigua” and “Araguacos”.
- Tujas is 40 minutes away with great adventurous features.
- To the western side of Choroni one could discover El Diario, which is a 120 m beautiful beach, just 30 minutes of walking distance.
Aroa, Uricao and La Cienega are also good places to visit.
