Camber Sands is a very renowned beach located by the village of Camber which is close to Rye in East Sussex. Camber Sands beach stretches from Rye Bay in the east and the estuary of the Rover Rother to the border between East Sussex and Kent. This beach is a sandy beach having beautiful sand dunes. This beach is seven miles long and an important place of geographical interest, scientific interest and natural conservation because of sand dune system. Camber village is situated beyond the sand dunes of Camber Sands beach. Sand dunes act as a significant barrier between village and sea. Camber Sands beach located in the border of Kent and East Sussex has been rewarded the “Blue Flag” status and also the Water Quality reward.
