Archipelago de Los Roques has beautiful climate and calm bays that one has to see it to believe it. One can spot coral reefs of varying colors and sizes, mangroves and marine wildlife. This land is originally habituated by ancestors of fishermen who came in the early nineteenth century, still uses old fashioned fishing style. Their occupation and business is to catch Spanish mackerel, King Conch and Lobsters.
How to Reach Archipelago de Los Roques, Venezuela:
From the mainland of Venezuela, there are only 2 modes of transportation which is air and sea. By sea, one has to sail on a cruise ship which passed through the outer islands of Ola Cruises (La Guaira). After reaching Gran Roque, one has to take a boat to other islands.
By air, one can catch flights coming from Valencia,Porlamar or Maiquetia; which lands at Aeropuerto Los Roques. A lot of domestic flights are also available for Aeropuerto Los Roques.

Some of the Hotels are Posada Lagunita Hotel, Posada Movida, Hotel Alba Caracas, Calypso Lodge, Posada La Hacienda Vieja and Caracas Palace Hotel.
Most of the hotels provide beach chair, umbrella and other beach facilities.
